About Us
The Michigan Independent Supreme Court Campaign is a group of Michigan citizens who are committed to making significant changes to the process of selecting Supreme Court justices, with the goal of having highly qualified, independent and respected jurists on the court selected through a fair and open process.
Our short-term objective is to work toward "clean elections" under the current system. Other longer-term options are possible as well.
The group formed in 2007 in northwest lower Michigan and will continue its work throughout the state in 2008. It is led by a steering committee and is expanding its network. If you are interested in participating or in learning more about our efforts, please contact us at info@miscc.org.
